My Chinese name is Xiaolu Li and Li is my family name. To be a good teacher has always been my dream. I took many courses and did some teaching internship to realize my dream. I acquired my double bachelor degrees of Education and English Literature in China. I will graduate from Minzu University of China (MUC) and URI next year. I major in Teaching Chinese to Other Language Speakers (TCOLS) in MUC and Secondary Education in URI. I learned it from my experiences of teaching that teaching is a demanding job which involves emotion, professional knowledge, and patience. I used to work in Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) as a Chinese Tutor. In June of this year I was involved in a language program between the Confucius Institution and Old Dominion University in Virginia. In my Chinese calligraphy class in MUC, I worked with students from Iran, Japan, Korea, America, France and many other countries. I love my job. It encourages me to learn everyday and make progress day by day.
